The Belgian pianist Sylvie Decramer is one of the most promising Lied pianists of her generation.

With her passion and drive, she currently guides and coaches young singers at the Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik Düsseldorf, where she is active as vocal accompanist and vocal coach. Before she gained her experience at the Universität der Künste Berlin and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, in the singing classes of Peter Maus, Enrico Facini, Carola Höhn, Thomas Quasthoff, Renate Faltin, Anna Korondi.

After obtaining her Master degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Daniel Blumenthal, Sylvie moved to Berlin in 2009 to continue her pianostudies at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Björn Lehmann.  Her deep affection for the Lied, made her also accomplish a Master Degree in Lied accompaniment at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler with well-known lieder pianists Wolfram Rieger and Eric Schneider.
